Get The Look: Kim Kardashian at CEW Awards...

Kim K attended the Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC on Friday.  Read on to find out how longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic achieved her look...

FACE
On her skin I applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation blended with a bit of moisturizer, and used LaMer concealer under her eyes. I then set her face with Shu Uemura loose powder.

For a subtle glow, I sweep EYE M GLAM highlighter by Giella Cosmetics onto the cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupids bow, and applied Hot Mama blush by The Balm.

EYES
For her eyes I swept EYE M GLAM highlighter on her lids and on the inner corners of eyes to brighten and open up the eyes, and used a touch right on the brow bone too. I also filled her brows with MAC Brow Pencil in Linering, and lined the top lids with Lancome’s Art Liner extending it out and up past the eye.

I then applied Sephora Collection Flashy Liner in Flashy Brown on the inner rim of her eyes and smudged a bit along the lash line too, and finished the look by curling her lashes and applying two coats of Smashbox Hyperlash Mascara in black to both top and bottom lashes.

MAC: To The Beach Summer Collection...

Set to launch May 27, 2010, this summer collection has something for everyone to get that sun-kissed look...

Golden Globe Beauties: My 5 Favs...

Penelope Cruz

My pick for the night's best makeup and hair.  Her romantic look was so pretty.  Makeup was simple, a subtle smokey eye and neutral lips.  Her full brows and soft, loose curls just add to the whole look.

AMA Miss: Alicia Keys...

I'm just not a fan of matching your makeup to your clothes.  Blue shadow, pink lips to match the hues in her dress?  Me no likey.  I think she should've lost the eyeshadow, kept the lip color and had her hair in a nice sleek bun would've complemented the dress better.

AMA Beauty: Fergie...

Dontcha just love Fergie's darker hair?  Nothing much to her makeup, peachy cheecks and lips and a very subtle smokey eye.

AMAs Beauty: Rihanna...

Last night Rihanna hit up the AMAs with some FIERCE eyemakeup.  The focus was all on her eyes while the rest of her face was simple.   She rocked what looks like a reddish shadow smudged on the top and lower lash lines, black winged eyeliner and web-like lashes.  Her lips were a nude color while her cheeks appeared to be lightly buffed with a rosey blush.  I'm assuming her regular makeup artist Mylah Morales created this fabulousness...LUVs it!

Would you rock colored eyeliner/shadow?

Pretty Palettes...

If you're anything like me, you love a good makeup palette to play with and create different looks.  Most often, my favs are the shadows:  cream ones, sparkly ones, matte ones, sooo much fun.  Holiday limited edition palettes can satisfy any makeup junkie and make great gifts too.  Check out the latest all for under $60.

Fall Makeup Trends...

Purples and Blues and Nudes, OH MY! Ugly Betty's Becki Newton models the latest looks.

The Plum Lip: Wear it as if it were a statement necklace—it’s all you need. Let your mouth be the main course and keep eyes light and lashy.

The Nude Face: It’s meant to be natural-looking, not completely bare, which can look washed out. Choose light shades with shimmer and use muted taupes or browns on eyes to create definition.

The Blue Smoky Eye: A smoky eye in rich, metallic blue is an instant drama booster, but keep lips and cheeks simple.

Naughty or Nice...

Makeup artist Troy Jensen shows us how to rock a hot pink lip which is all the rage this season. His muse, Kim K, models a naughty look and a nice look.

Which do you prefer?

-Even out skin tone with liquid foundation and set with loose powder.-Dust a powder pink blush on the high apples of the cheeks.-Eye's that wow, blend a shimmery shadow on the entire eyelid and contour with a black shadow, then line the entire eye with a black eye pencil and curl and coat lashes with black mascara.

The skin and cheek are the same.-Sweet lined eye's, start by blending a concealer over the entire eye area and set with a loose powder, then dab a touch of pale cream shimmer on the entire eye lid and blend well. -Dust a bit of the pink powder blush onto the cheeks then across the eye lids for a hint of color. Line the entire eye with a black eye pencil and use a very thin eye lining brush to create the winged effect. Curl and coat lashes with a black mascara.- Groom brows with a brow pencil and brow gel.
