OMGAH! January 20th is shaping up to be the bestest day ever in 2009! First Obama, now this!
Beginning Tuesday, for one week only, Bloomies, Nordies and a slew of other high end stores are being forced to give away $175 million worth of beauty products nationwide. "Por que" you say? Because of a major lawsuit filed against the stores in California in 2003. Apparently, the stores held back inventory of high end products, uped their prices and conspired to never offer discounts. So damn shady. Product companies include Chanel, Christian Dior, Lancome and Clarins, just to name a few.
Shoppers only get one item per cosmetic company, while supplies last. Products are available to ANYONE who says they purchased department store cosmetics from at least one of the department stores between May 29, 1994 and July 16, 2003.
