Celebs came out Wednesday night to celebrate the InStyle Hair issue. A 100+ page issue on hair how-to. Obsessed star, Ali Larter, attended the star studded event held at the Gansevoort Hotel in NYC. The event was hosted by John Frieda Root Awakening and Marchesa.

Harry Josh, John Frieda International Creative Consultant, created a stunning red carpet look for Ali Larter.
Explains Josh: “The look I created for Ali emphasizes how naturally healthy and vibrant her hair is. I started by spritzing hair with Root Awakening Detangling Spray, then blow dried in sections using a natural bristle brush to maintain her hair’s own health and shine. I finished the look with a styling crème to add polish to her naturally sleek, full hair.”
Guests enjoyed an exclusive showcase of Marchesa gowns complemented by John Frieda hair looks. In addition, partygoers were treated to stylish pampering at John Frieda touchup stations.

I just wanna give a quick shout out for my Root Awakening experience. First, I received the products about 3 days after I was announced the winner of the contest, which was a wonderful surprise. Second, from the first moment I put the shampoo in my hair my reaction was "OMG!! Luvs it!!" The shampoo and conditioner smell fabulous and left my scalp feeling refreshed and tingly. A few squirts of the detangling spray did just that - and instantly - and I ended up with less hair left in my comb as a result. As for my hair, amazing. It was full, shiny and had incredible bounce! This is my new fav product! Thanks for a fab giveaway!
