Have you been to the new TJ Maxx store in Rego Park Mall? The beauty section in there is so refreshing. While in NYC two weeks ago, my cousin, aunt and I decided to stop in after visiting the new Century 21. Um, I spent the entire time in the two aisles of beauty. If either of them needed my opinion on something, they knew where to find me and sure enough, they did.
Now, on to my great find. As you all know, I love Ahava products. Well, they have a Mineral Botanic line I've been wanting to try for a while now. I first saw their velvet cream wash in an Ulta store last summer for $21. Well, low and behold, I found the same wash at TJ's for $12! What a deal. The reason why I wanted to try it was because the line prides itself in sulfate free washes that help nourish and moisturize skin. Each wash is made with two organic plant extracts, carefully selected for their benefits to the skin...
The line offers two fragrances for each skin type as well as one micro-peeling wash for a gentle, daily exfoliation.
Normal to Dry Skin
Grape & Avocado
Water Lily & Guarana (Micro-Peel)
Very Dry Skin
Hibiscus & Fig
Bamboo & Pansy
Sensitive Skin
Lotus Flower & Chestnut
Honeysuckle & Lavender
I got the Hibiscus & Fig wash and am in love with it. The main thing that sold me was that it did not irritate the eczema on my neck. I've been using it daily with my loofah sponge during my showers. The wash rinses off easily and leaves my skin super super soft and hydrated, not that tight itchy skin feeling.
This one's a keeper!
