Cetaphil is mostly known for it's cleanser. It's a favorite with Dermatologists because of it's "gentleness". I don't use their cleanser myself, but I have started using their daytime moisturizer. It's a light non-greasy lotion that sinks right in. It's fragrance free and non-comedogenic so it's great for all skin types and won't irritate. It may be in my head, but this is the only moisturizer with SPF that hasn't caused any breakouts. And best of all, it's inexpensive ($9) and available pretty much everywhere!
Mally Beauty: Life, Love and A Really Great Lip Gloss...
Last year Mally added City Chick Nude Lip Kit to her makeup line, Mally Beauty. It's a 3-step nude lip kit that is so easy to apply. The kit includes a double-ended lip pencil (primer and liner) and a nude lip gloss. First you apply the primer that creates the base for your nude lip, next you line your lips and last apply your gloss and VOILA! Honestly, sometimes, if I'm in a rush, I will only wear the gloss. It's great on it's own too!
The kit comes in two shades: Nude Light and Nude Deep and is available @ QVC and HBendel for $25
Luxe For Less: Origins Ginger Scrub...
Origins Incredible Spreadable Scrub was one of my first scrub obsessions. White and Brown Sugars exfoliate away dead dull skin while Olive Oil hydrates. And the ginger smell is oohhh sooo heavenly...I loved it and I got a few friends hooked too.
(Available at Origins stores for $26)
This morning I stopped by Rite-Aid to um....I dunno...I just did. Anyway, I stumbled on Booth's Ginger Sugar Body Scrub and took a whiff and it took me back to my Origins days. Simple ingredients include sugar to exfoliate and Cocoa and Shea butter to hydrate. The spicy ginger smell and texture is just the same as Origins'. Great alternative!!!
(Available at Rite-Aid stores for $6)
Crocs For A Cure...
I know...I know...most people don't think of crocs as a fashion must! But, if you purchase any pink pair from their site, a portion of the sale goes to benefit Breast Cancer Research. Click here to visit.
Perfume For Your Hair?...
Tom Ford's Luminous Hair Perfume promises to leave your hair soft, shiny and bouncy, thanks to the pro-vitamin B5 it contains, and scented with his best selling Black Orchid fragrance. But a 1.7 ounce bottle costs $80!!
Pink Sugar has a less expensive ($15) one that promises to protect your hair from harmful UV rays while lightly scenting it with notes of vanilla and musk.
But then the question becomes, what if I dont want to smell like my hair perfume one day. Then what? Will my hair scent clash with my body scent? What's a girl tuh do?
What do you think? "Genius" or "Soooo not necessary"...

Think Pink...
Breast Cancer Awareness Month starts today. For the last two decades National Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer issues. However, awareness and education is a year round mission and a lot more needs to be accomplished.
A few beauty companies are participating in this mission by providing limited edition beauty products where a portion of proceeds go to help the cause.
Aveda is raising funds with it's limited-edition Hand Relief cream. The cream softens and smoothes hands making them noticeably softer and smoother. Ingredients include hydrating plant emollients, humectants, exfoliating fruit acids and vitamins A and E. I've been using this stuff for years. It's soft and silky and smells diviiiineeee!
The Special value size is available for a limited time only and $4 from every purchase goes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Available at Aveda stores and Aveda.com
